3D Component and Assembly Design
|
:: 3D Modeling ::
3D modeling is the process of developing a mathematical representation of any three-dimensional surface of object via specialized software. The product is called a 3D model. It can be displayed as a two-dimensional image through a process called 3D rendering or used in a computer simulation of physical phenomena

We turn your ideas into reality. Through the use of high end 3D CAD systems, we can take your 2D drawings, or even just your concept sketches into glorious 3D.
If you can imagine it - we can model it.
The 3D model can then be used down the line to create 2D drawings for manufacture, advanced renderings for publications, 3D rapid prototyping, tooling design, assembly simulations and much much more.

:: Industrial Design ::
Industrial design is a discipline whereby the aesthetics, ergonomics and usability of mass-produced products may be improved for marketability and production. The main objective is to create and execute design solutions towards problems of form, usability, user ergonomics, engineering, marketing, brand development and sales.

With the use of advanced surfacing capabilities, we are able to style your products to be functional, yet aesthetically pleasing, manufacturable and cost affective.
Surface analysis tools and visualization allow us to create surfaces which are perfectly smooth and blemish free. This is of utmost importance when taking in consideration the over all appearance of the finished products.
Using advanced HDR rendering techniques we are able to supply you with photo realistic visualization which can be used for marketing and publication.
Direct Modelling
|
:: Synchronous Technology ::
The Synchronous Technology process, officially known as Synchronous Technology, combines the speed and flexibility of direct modeling with precise control of dimension driven design (features and synchronously solving parametrics). Parametric relationships can be applied directly to the solid features without having to depend on 2D sketch geometry, and common parametric relationships are applied automatically. This modeling process is claimed to make certain CAD design activities up to 100 times faster.

Do you have a 3D model which requires amendments. Maybe some geometry needs to be removed or a feature is in the wrong place, and you have no way of updating the parameters. Maybe you have to adjust a wall or rib thickness but you have no feature history because the model is from a different CAD system and is dumb.
Sometimes the only solution is to redraw the 3D model from scratch. This can be time consuming and prone to errors, both of which are costly exercises.
We have the ability to perform direct edits on models from any CAD source. Even dumb data. A direct edit is a much quicker way to make quick changes to models, therefore saving tremendously on design time and costs involved
Data surface preparation

:: Data Quality ::
Defective data can be attributed to a number of factors.
Improper modeling practices; Lack of communication of methods; Non conformance to generic methodologies Neglecting the enforcement of quality standards; Time pressures to complete the work; Too many data translations; Lack of training; Oversight.

You often receive 3D surface data from suppliers which are absolutely useless in down stream applications such as tooling design and manufacturing.
Let us help by ‘fixing’ the surface for you and providing you with a water tight 3D solid model. We will fix the surface gaps caused by bad data translations, fix the transitions to make sure surfaces are smooth and flow into each other.
We can also provide a data translation service, to ensure the best quality 3D model for your CAD system.
